We were alone for the first time.
It came with a silent bang, a movement of the celestial sphere in a mere second, after which, the land where we walked on itself fractured and broke apart. As the rage of the very ground beneath us punished us just as our divinities did.
Why are they gone? Where have they gone? What did our ancestors do? What did I do?
Where do our prayers lie now? To what ears do they fall upon, and if they do, are they being listened? Mankind ill-needs divine eyes to be laid upon them, for we are nothing without the divine hand to guide us.
Now what will be of us?
The first ray of sunlight rose, yet the darkness never left. To what were the people of our land waking to?
